My News Report on Health.

What do you think of when you hear the words Physical Fitness? Going to the gym? Going on a diet? Boring, it’s for grown-ups, or I’m not fat! Yeah, that’s not what Physical Fitness is all about. It’s about keeping your body healthy, so you can live long and enjoy life. It can prevent some major health concerns like, high blood pressure, cholesterol, cancer, osteoporosis, and the biggest health concern, that three of the four people I interview said was the biggest health problem this country ever faced, obesity.

As I learned from my interviewees there is more than one way to learn about your health. Mr. Horn says, “You can ask your doctor; insurance.” Anthony Manzella uses Wikipedia to find his information. Along with those ways there are others, you can ask you parents about you family history to know what risks you have. You can also prevent most sickness, putting on sunscreen before going out to play, not drinking any alcoholic drinks or smoking, eating right, and exercising. Ugg, exercising. Most people groan when they hear this word, they funning thing is, exercising can be really fun!

Playing outside is exercising, walking, running jumping, swimming, biking, baseball, basketball, these are all ways you can exercise, and the cool thing is…that how we play! Playing is exercising! You can also us free online food trackers to track what you eat and drink for an even healthier you. Like Anthony, who uses the President’s Challenge to track is exercise and food and drink intake. Jose Manzella uses an app on his phone and visits the doctor regularly. Sadie Manzella uses Fitbit. There are many ways to track your health.

Mr. Frank Horn was the most interesting to interview, his answers were so different from the other interviewees it was like a whole other view of things, it was amazing, a man who lives right next door, and his view of things is so much different from ours.

Are We Humane?

Humane-an over used word in our society-upon using it so much…do we really know what it means? Do we understand the full meaning and message of the word we use so much, it’s like breathing?

‘Sure, it means…um…well-I know it’s not a bad word!’

Ok, that’s good… but what does it mean?

(Searching on google-thank God for it)-‘having or showing compassion.’

Yes, ok, that’s what it means, but…are you humane? Don’t answer that, but think about it, are you really humane? Sure giving a dog a home is nice, but if a hungry human asks you for a cup of water and a piece of bread, would you give it to him? Go ahead, answer, it isn’t my place to judge, wouldn’t that be the humane thing to do?

All the money we spend on funding animal shelters, but we can’t even give one buck to a homeless man or women whose family is living on the streets! Now, for me that in inhumane. Don’t get me wrong, I love animals, it hurts to see how some people treat them, but…they…are…ANIMALS, they were made to live on their own, in the wild, or eating our garbage, but when we see an dog eating trash we help it, but when we see a human eating trash we raise our hands with pride and disgust and not once, not once- does it cross our minds to buy them dinner-oh no, with the dog, we take it to the vet and most of the time keep it as our pest giving it a home, food and water-what…is…that?!

So, I’ll ask you again, are you humane?

We care more about dogs and cats…then…then our own kind, other humans dying of hungry and thirst, freezing to death in the winter, watching their families and children die, is that humane? Is it, choosing a dog over a human? Is it? Build shelter for the homeless, just like for the cats and dogs, start programs to help them, like the for the animals, people volunteering, lending a helping hand, with a cheerful hearts, for both animals and humans-that, now that’s humane.

[An hour later]

The sun was setting as the gathered the last of the metal scrapes. “I don’t know about you, but I’m hitting the hay.” Silver yawned. They all nodded. Winter was sitting on her branch, Sonic had his back on the tree, Shadow beside him.

“We did well today.” He whispered.

“Yeah we did.” She replied. Suddenly, she sat straight up, and jumped down.

“What?” He asked getting up.

“How is Blaze going to get home?!” She asked. “We don’t have the tech to build a time machine!”

It was pitch black, they couldn’t see a thing. “Are we lost?” He whispered with fear. “I donno, I think so.” His brother replied.
[Somewhere else]

“What is this place, it kidda looks like home.” One said. “Only the ground isn’t covered with snow…and I don’t know my way around.” “We’ll have better luck when the sun rises.” Her sister replied. “I hope so.” Their companion hoped.

[Tails’ view of things]

I was struggling to keep the Tornado in the air. “Silver, where are you?!” No answer. I looked at the seat belt. “Curse you!” I struggled again. No good.

“Tails! Tails!” Silver waved. He was standing on a hill, his right arm was limp.

“I can’t lower the plane without crashing it!” I called.

“Don’t worry, Tails, I’m going to get you down!”

“Hurry!” I started struggling again. I flew over the hill, Silver used his telekinesis and landed on the plane. “The seat belt.” I pointed. He opened his left hand, there was a knife, it had a little blood on it. He cut the belt.

“You’re going to have to jump!” He said. I nodded and jumped down. I looked up. Silver was getting the Chaos Crystal out of the engine, the moment he pulled it out, the one working side, and front propellers stopped spinning and the plane crashed.

“Silver!” I screamed. Then, Silver appeared beside me holding his right shoulder. “Did you just use Chaos Control…with a Crystal?” He nodded. “What happened to you?” He took his hand off of his shoulder, I could see a gash.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.” He replied. “Go to Sky Canyon, you should be safe there.”

“Fine, but you have to come to.” I conditioned.

He shook his head. “They’ll need me, now go!” I flew off.

[Blaze’s view of things]

I finally figured out what was missing what-in the future-was a scare on his right shoulder, was a gash. “What happened?” I asked.

“Don’t worry, I’ll survive.” He replied.

“Silver, I can take care of myself.” I said.

“Fine.” He ran off, back into the fight. Suddenly, I saw my da-I mean Shadow-pinned to a tree, by Andrew. I shot fire at him. Then put a wall between him and us.

“You have fire powers?”

“I just used them, so yeah.” I replied. He sighed.

[Rogue’s view of things]

Sonic was asking me questions none stop. “Sonic! I’m fine!” Tails repeated. He cleared his throat.

“Think they need help?” Sonic asked.

“No, I think they’re good.” He replied.

“Agent Rogue, come in agent Rouge.”

“Agent Rogue speaking.” I answered.

“We have overridden the shutdown, it is safe for the Commander to return.” The agent informed.

“Great news.”

“Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.”

“Well, they is one thing. We need support at the shore, Andrew is attacking.”

“Reinforcements are on their way.”

We all sighed. “Tails, go with the Commander and see if you can upgrade G.U.N security.” I said. He nodded they walked off.

[Winter’s view of things]

I was getting tired, I could tell Knuckles was too. Silver whooped for joy. Knuckles and I turned. “Yes!” We both cheered. Soldiers and G.U.N robots finished off the rest.

“We won.” Silver sighed.

“Whoa, yes!” Knuckles jumped. Shadow walked over, he put his hand on my shoulder. We looked at each other and smiled.

“We won, no world conquering on our watch!” Sonic exclaimed.

“All thanks to you Blaze.” I said.

“No, we did it as a team.” She replied. Andrew walked by, hands cuffed. He glared at Shadow and I, Shadow growled at him.

“What’s going to happen to ‘em?” I asked.

“Probably going to federal prison, on Prison Island.” Shadow replied. This was the greatest victory.

“We’d like to thank you, for stopping them.” An agent began.

“No problem, it’s what we do.” Knuckles answered. The agent nodded.

“Still, thank you.”

We nodded. ‘We saved the future! We won a war.’

[Silver’s view of things]

“Sonic! Sonic!” I was saying in a very loud whisper.

“We know who the traitor is, it’s Andrew.” I informed.

“Agent Andrew, the one who helped us like two time?!” Sonic asked.

“Yes, and before you asked, yes, I’m one hundred present sure!” I was rushing.

“Silver-” static interrupted Sonic. I made a fist. We were all hiding under, behind, or in something. Agent Andrew and his men had arrived.

“How did Sonic and his friends catch on?” One asked.

“It doesn’t matter, we need to get them out of the picture.” Andrew replied.

‘Hehe, wish I didn’t know what that one meant.’ Tails looked at me, then pointed at the Tornado. I looked, nobody was looking. I nodded. Tails ran under the Tornado. He looked, one of the men walked by. He looked again, and jumped into the plane. He turned the key and the engine turned over, he rushed the plane into the air.

“Open fire! Shoot him out of the sky!” Andrew ordered. Winter and Knuckles came out of hiding, and started fighting.

“Silver, I’ve been hit! Help! The Tornado is going to crash! And…I’m stuck!” Tails’ voice sounded through the ear piece. I looked up on of the side propeller was smoking, a huge plum of night black smoke.

“I’m coming, just try to keep it steady for as long as you can.” I replied. Suddenly, Andrew got in front of me. “Out of my way!”

“Sorry, but I can’t let you save him.” He replied. He pulled out a pistol.

“Really, you’re going to fight me?” I asked.

“What to find out?” He replied, taking aim. I grunted. “What?”

I moved my hand and the pistol went flying. He growled. He made to fists. ‘Oh, great, hand-to-hand combat, I’m no got at that-and Tails!’

“Silver, I don’t know how much longer I can keep the plane in the air! Where are you?!” Tails cried. Andrew snickered, when he heard this. This made me angry. I flung him into a tree, I ran to help Tails-I mean come on-how much can the human body take?

“Tails, I’m on my way, are you still in the air?” I asked.

“Yes, but I don’t know for how much longer.”

Suddenly, I felt a breath taking, paralyzing, shock of pain in my upper back, near my shoulder. I turned around, Andrew was standing holding his shoulder. I looked at me back, and grimaced. Andrew ran at me, and the hand-to-hand combat began.

 [Shadow’s view of things]

When I got to the shore, it was complete and utter chaos. Andrew’s squad attacking, I couldn’t believe it, Andrew was the traitor! There were robots and G.U.N soldiers everywhere! “Chaos Shield!” I heard from…somewhere. “Shadow!”

I looked around trying to find the person who was calling me. Then I spotted it, Winter surrounded by G.U.N soldiers. “You can’t hold that shield forever!” One called.

“Shadow!” She called, again. I teleported myself over there-hey, was run when you can teleport?

“Back off.” I growled. They all took a step back. ‘Yup, that’s right, fear me!’ Then Knuckles did the rest. Suddenly a robot started attacking.

“Shadow, we got this, go help Silver.” Winter pointed. There was Silver on the ground with Andrew attacking him. ‘That does it!’

[Eggman’s view of things]

Lyric’s new security had caught a system’s breech, and the location of the hackers. “Andrew, take care of this, will you?” I ordered in a nicer tone than I would with Orbot or Q-bot.

“The Commander is gone! He escaped!” He growled.

“How?” Power asked.

“We don’t know the security camera is missing time.” He replied.

“It was deleted, somebody hacked in to your systems, and I bet it’s the same people who hacked into my systems.” I concluded. He nodded and yelled at his men and they headed out. “Think somebody knows what we are up too?” I asked.

“No, there’s no way, we haven’t told anybody.” Lyric reminded.

“We’ll so find out.” Power said. “In the meantime let’s get to work on reprogramming G.U.N’s programing.” I got back to cracking their codes.

‘Why do they have to be so much better at putting codes and passwords and everything them me?!’ I complained to myself.

[Blaze’s view of things]

‘Well, Uncle Sonic just doesn’t grow up, does he?’ I felt like I wasn’t really helping to change anything sitting in a cave. “Sonic! Sonic!” Silver’s voice came through the radio, he was panicking.

“We know who the traitor is, it’s Andrew.” He sounded scared. Unlike the Silver I knew that if he was ever scared, he never showed it.

“Agent Andrew, the one who helped us like two times?!” Sonic asked.

“Yes, and before you asked, yes, I’m one hundred present sure!”

“Agent Andrew, my best agent? I would have never guessed.” The Commander said angrily.

“Nobody did.” I tried to give him the fact that it wasn’t his fault, in fact, it really wasn’t anybody’s fault really.

“So, if I’m killed, what’s the future like?” He asked me.

“Dark, and not really good compared to how life is now.” I replied. He nodded.

“Silver, how do you know this?” Sonic asked. Static. “Silver? Silver?!” Still, static.

“Something’s wrong.” Rogue sounded worried.

“I’ll go!” I volunteered.

“If something is wrong you’ll probably need to fight, can you?” Sonic asked. I snapped my finger and the flame floated there. He nodded. I ran off.

‘Nobody can die, nobody, or the future will be changed drastically, and I won’t be able to fix it.’ I was leaving a fire line behind me, it’s not like I could help it, that’s what happens when I’m running at high-speed. When I reached the shore, it looked like a war! (It took me an hour or so to reach the shore, I got lost).

“Look out!” Silver called, he made a telekinetic wall between us and a bomb. “What are you doing here?”

“If somebody dies, I won’t be able to fix that, and the future with be permanently changed.” I replied.

“That includes you.” He stated.

‘Well, he may look different but he sure act the same.’ I thought.

A Grand Adventure-Book 5. Part 4.

[Blaze’s view of things]

Other than no sleeve jacket, she looks the same. Dad, he looked perfectly the same, only mean, he looked really mean. Knuckles looked the same, Tails is a few feet shorter, Rogue’s the same, and Sonic looked the same as well, and Silver, Silver looked different, I didn’t know what it was, but he was missing something.

They believed me, but I couldn’t believe my eyes, this is what the topside looked like, the sun really is yellow, the sky really is blue, the clouds are white, and the grass and tree were green. The light breeze felt very good. It was like heaven. Silver and Tails were flying in a plane they called the Tornado. We were heading to the place they called home. “Here we are.” Sonic said. He motioned to the sandy shore. The Tornado land a few feet away from a huge green oak. Tails yawned. I gasped silently, the orange-red-pink-and-purple sky was breath taking, and the sun looked like it was dipping into the sea.

“Have you ever seen a sun set before?” Tails asked quietly.

“No, never.” I replied. “My whole life I lived underground.”

“We’ll stop them.” He whispered, before drifting into a light slumber.

‘I hope so, I really do.’ I thought. I couldn’t sleep, ‘What if while we were sleeping the events occur, and the future stays the way it is!’ Despite this, I feel asleep.

The sun shone brightly. I got up and looked around, everyone was doing something. “So what’s the future like, besides the fact we are living underground?” Sonic asked.

“I can’t tell you much, it could mess up the time line.” I replied. I knew he didn’t really understand, but did, at the same time.

“So, what are we going to do to stop this, Dooms Day?” He asked.

“Well, if they’re going to kill the Commander, shouldn’t somebody be like his body guard, or something?” Tails suggested. They all turned to Shadow. He turned.

“What-wait, me-why me?!” He asked.

“Really, you’re asking, ‘why me?’ Shadow, you were trained for this, that’s why!” Silver replied.

“Trained to fight, not protect somebody!” Shadow corrected. Silver crossed his arms and gave him a face.

“He is your boss.” Knuckles commented.

“The Commander is my boss, not you, and he hasn’t-fine! I’ll do it! Even if I didn’t want to I would end up doing it anyway.” He growled.

“Good, you got the message.” Sonic congratulated.

“Shut up.” Shadow hissed. Sonic shook his head.

“Wait. What if there are too many?” Rogue asked.

“Too many what?”

“Men. What if there are too many men?” Rouge clarified. They stood them is silence, thinking.

‘What was it Tails told me he thought they should have done…what was it?’ I stood there trying to remember and after a few minutes I did. “What if we heck into Eggman’s server, to intercept communication, heck into G.U.N’s surveillance system, and move the Commander to a safer place.” I suggested.

“That could work, but we’d have to start now.” Winter replied.

[Sonic’s view of things]

Shadow, Rogue, Blaze, and I were going to get the Commander to a cave at Sky Canyon. “How are we going to convince him we haven’t lost it?” I asked. Shadow and Rouge shrugged.

“We’re his best Agents, he’ll believe us.” They said.

“What? One of my own agents are going to kill me and work with Eggman?” The commander seemed skeptical, like I knew he would.

“Yup.” Rogue replied. “And unless you come with us, the future we stay the way it is.”

“How do you know that?” The commander asked.

“Because, I’m from the future, and came to the past to stop Dooms Day.” Blaze replied.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, you’re from the future?” He laughed.

“You’re about to get a security breech alert.” She said plainly.

“Security breech! Breech is progress! Beginning emergence protection now.” I computerized voice echoed.

“How?” He asked.

“I’m from the future, todays the day known as Dooms Day.” Blaze replied.

“Alright, fine, let’s go.” He finally agreed. Blaze seemed relieved. Suddenly all the doors slammed shut.

“Lock down, activated.” The computerized voice announced. The commander tried to override. “Override, denied.”

“Silver!” Shadow asked through his ear piece.

“The east exist is still opened, if you hurry, you could get out.”

“On it!” Shadow nodded. “Come on.” We all started to run, the door was closing fast.

“We’re not going to make it!” I called. Shadow grabbed a beam and threw it at the door, it wedged into the crack.

“Go! Go!”

We crawled under. Right after I crawled through the beam collapsed over the pressure of the door. “Shadow!” I banged on the door.

“Get the Commander to the cave, I’ll find a way out.” He yelled.

[Shadow’s view of thing]

“Silver, please tell me there is another way out.” I said through my ear piece. (Silver had hacked into the surveillance system and could see what was going on, in the whole building). “Silver, please, I need an answer!”

“Um…hold up I’m getting the layout of the building.” He replied.

“How’s that going to help?” I asked.

“Find a weak spot you can break through, or something.” He explained. It took him a few minutes. “I know you’re not going to like this, but your only way out is through the sewer system.”

“What?!!? No, there has got to be another way out.” I refused.

“No, I wouldn’t by saying this if you didn’t have to.” He replied. “Now, go to your left and you should find a loose panel, that’s your way in.”

I found it and dropped in. I plugged my noise. “Silver, get me out of here, it smells really, really bad!”

“Ok, keep going straight and you should come to an intersection. Go right. Then keep walking until you see a pipe going down, don’t go down the pipe, keep going straight.”

“Ok, now what?”

“You should find a ladder.”

I looked around. “Got it.” I said.

“Climb up and open the hatch, you should be a few feet outside the building.” He finished. Once I opened the hatch, and popped my head out, I gasped for breath, taking in the fresh air. Silver started to laugh.

‘Next time you’re going into the sewer, then we’ll see who’ll be laughing.’ I headed toward the cave at Sky Canyon. The others were there with the Commander.

“How did you get out?” Blaze asked.

“Let’s just say I have gone where no hedgehog had gone before.” I replied. Sonic gave a face of disgust. “You guys stay with the Commander, I’m going to help Winter and the others.” I said.

“Fine, we’ll be here. Doing nothing. Bored out of our minds. You go have fun.” Sonic replied. I ran off. It was a 30 minute run to the shore, even at top speed.

[Knuckles’ view of things]

I was laughing at the fact that Silver had sent Shadow through the sewer system. “It was the only way out.” He continued to say.

“It’s still funning.” I shrugged.

“K, I’ve intercept all of Eggman’s communication services, we should be able to hear everything and anything he or his buddies say.” Winter called. We all sat around to hear what they were saying. “Tails can you get us a visual?”

He nodded and started typing what seemed like random letter and numbers, but soon we had a visual. “It has always been a mystery to me, how do hackers hack in to things back typing in random things.” I wondered. Silver, Winter and Tails chuckled.

“No, come on!” Winter exclaimed.

“What?” We all asked. She pointed at to figures on her laptop screen. It was Power, and Lyric. We all groaned. We heard a noise, and we all ran out.
